Participant Requirements

1. Special Requirements

• Male/Female

• For Technical Vocational High School (SMK): minimum age 18, maximum 26 at the time of selection test.

• For General Senior High School (SMA): minimum age 18 years 6 months, maximum 26 at the time of selection test.

• Not color blind (total/partial) and does not wear glasses or contact lenses.

• No tattoos or tattoo scars.

• No piercings or piercing scars.

2. Administrative Requirements

• National ID Card (KTP)

• Family Card (KK)

• Birth Certificate

• Work training certificate (minimum 160 hours) in a technical field or at least 6 months of work experience in a technical field for non-technical graduates

• Diploma/Certificate of Education

• Permission letter from parents/guardian/spouse

• Statement letter declaring never participated in any internship program in Japan (with stamp duty)

• High-resolution passport photo

• Recommendation letter from Village Head/Subdistrict Head

• Family photo with house background (high resolution)

• Endorsement letter from the District/City Manpower Office of participant’s origin area

3. Technical Requirements

• Minimum education: High School graduate or equivalent

• Pass mathematics test

• Pass physical fitness test

• Pass endurance test

• Pass interview

• Pass Japanese language test

• Pass medical check-up
